Home Buyer
Introduction
- Part II
Despite advertising claims to the contrary,
the internet is NOT an experienced Real Estate
Professional.
The internet
cannot consult, counsel, advise, have knowledge
of local laws and market conditions, make
judgments, "own" the result, or most
importantly, understand your individual goals
and needs and care about you as a client.
Internet data,
and particularly incomplete on-line data, can be very
misleading.
We're sure you've heard the old saying,
"It's not what you know that is going to get you
in trouble. It's what you do not know."
Need an example?
Many first-time and
experienced home buyers make the mistake of
contacting the agent who has a home listed for
sale or they call the listing office from the sign
in the yard.
The
listing agent and the listing
office
work for the best interests of the seller and
represent the seller !!
Who
is going to represent your best interests and
represent you? You need and
deserve an experienced Buyer's Agent working for you
and representing your best interests, sending you photos and summaries of houses that match the criteria of what you are interested
in, sent directly to you via email,
helping with your financing and overseeing your
new home purchase from start to successful finish.
There is usually no cost to
you to have your own
Buyer's Agent ! However, if you
don't have one, legal representation could get
very, very expensive should a dispute arise.
And real estate disputes arise everyday.
If there are a bunch of benefits to employing your
own Buyer's Agent, and it doesn't
cost anything, why wouldn't you want to have
an experienced, licensed, certified broker working and representing your
families best interests?
