There can be well over 162 milestones and steps to a single Colorado real estate transaction.  Colorado Real Estate Laws, practices, procedures, contracts, title insurance and closing practices differ significantly from ALL other states.

Under Colorado Law every buyer is entitled to representation to protect their best interests.  Until you hire a licensed residential real estate broker, or an experienced residential real estate attorney, you will not have legal representation.  Until you discuss and execute a Colorado Buyer’s Agency Agreement any broker you visit with or work with will be representing the interests of other interested parties; the seller, their brokerage, etc. and will not be representing your best interests.

The National Association of REALTORS further recommends hiring a real estate professional who has earned the trusted “REALTOR” designation, along with advanced certifications.  Boxes outlined with BOLD lines below indicate important buyer participation processes.
